Comment on noteOur opinion
From the port of Scarlino, this motorboat offers you a lovely day out at sea along the Maremma coast, with family or friends. With a capacity of 12 passengers and spaces designed for gathering in the sun or in the shade, it lets you enjoy the sea without giving up on-board comfort.
The Cranchi Mediterranee 41, built in 2003, measures 13 metres and delivers 760 hp. It welcomes up to 12 passengers on a day trip, while its two cabins offer six berths. For lunch, the sofa can seat eight people under the extendable bimini top; it also converts into a sunbathing area for four. At the bow, another sunbathing area can accommodate up to eight people. The spec sheet also mentions an outdoor table, speakers, a platform and a boarding ladder, as well as a tender with outboard motor and a paddleboard. On board, you will find in particular an outdoor shower, hot water, electric toilets, a galley with oven and stove, masks and snorkels, as well as bedding and towels. The listed rate starts at €900 per day; fuel is not included. The guests' rating is 4.92/5 based on 29 reviews.
Departing from Scarlino, you can consider sailing along the Maremma coastline, with stops to choose according to the weather, the length of the trip and the conditions of the day. Cala Violina and the beaches around Follonica provide nearby coastal landmarks; the islands of the Tuscan archipelago, such as Elba or Giglio, can also inspire a more ambitious outing. Talamone and the Argentario lie further south: these are not destinations to consider as automatically reachable within a day, but possibilities to discuss with the skipper. The latter is offered as an option. A boating licence is required if you sail without a skipper.
I recommend it to groups who want to share the day on a spacious boat, with berths if the rental format allows it. For a summer outing, it is best to check availability, fuel costs and the feasible itinerary with the skipper or the owner early before booking.
