Where is Pozzarello located?

Pozzarello is located on the promontory of Monte Argentario, in the province of Grosseto, in the south of the Tuscany. The name refers both to a small locality and its bay with a beach, less than 2 km from Porto Santo Stefano, between that town and the Santa Liberata area. So it is indeed in Maremma, on the Tyrrhenian coast, and not near Florence or Pisa.

From the center of Porto Santo Stefano, you can reach the beach by car in about 5 minutes, following the SS 440 towards Orbetello; there is also a cycling and walking route along the coastal road. On site, the shore mixes sand and small pebbles, with a free area and developed spaces. Note: there is also a Pozzarello near Monsummano, in the province of Pistoia; if your itinerary mentions beaches or the Argentario, it is the one at Monte Argentario that is meant.
