What activities can you do at the Tarot Garden with children?

With children, the best thing at the Tarot Gardenis to turn the visit into an observation game: go on a hunt for the 22 sculptures inspired by the tarot arcana, ask them to spot the mosaics, the mirrors and the animal shapes, then to choose their favorite statue. You can also make up a story around the characters. The tour is self-guided: there is no guided visit or activity specifically planned for children.

Expect around 1 h 30 on site. The garden is on a slope, with stairs: the little ones will sometimes have to walk and it's better to keep them close to you. A stroller may be impractical on some sections. It's a sculpture park, not a playground; it's best to remind children to look without climbing on the works. The site usually opens from April 1st to October 15thin the afternoon; check the schedule and book online, as entries are limited. As an indication, the 0–6 year olds enter for free and the 7–22 year olds pay 10 €.

Don't look for the right interpretation of each figure: the children's wacky explanations are often far more fun than the sensible answers!
