Upon arriving at Vallicella Glamping Resort, you are immediately enveloped by the serenity of a century-old olive grove. This estate, perched at 200 meters above sea level, stretches over some ten hectares, offering breathtaking views of Scarlino's medieval castle and the sparkling bay of Follonica. The terraced grounds, skillfully laid out, ensure precious privacy, even in the height of summer. Every corner breathes authentic Maremma, between majestic oaks and Mediterranean scrubland.
It is here that I discovered the Air Lodge, a surprising glamping tent. Spread over two levels, it offers a double bed upstairs, ideal for stargazing, and a cozy space downstairs for the children. A bathroom with shower and toilet, as well as a fully equipped kitchen, complete this cocoon. Outside, a spacious wooden terrace invites you to savor every moment in the open air.
