When is the grape festival in Scansano?

The Festa dell’Uva of Scansano generally takes place at the end of September, at grape harvest time. The dates change from year to year: in 2026, the festivities took place on the weekends of 19–20 and 25–27 September. They have therefore already passed this year; the dates of the next edition have not yet been announced.

The festival puts the spotlight on the Morellino di Scansano, with tastings and events in the village. To plan a visit in September 2027, wait for the annual programme to be published rather than booking based on the 2026 calendar: the last weekend of the month is a good period to watch, but it is not a guaranteed date. Also check whether the tastings or some of the activities take place over a single weekend or are spread over several.
