Comment on noteOur opinion
From Marina di Grosseto, the Hanse 411 gives you time to savour the Maremma coast and set course for the islands of the Tuscan archipelago. Sailing is done with a skipper: so you can enjoy the sea without having to take the sailboat out on your own. For a day, choose a stopover according to the weather and the crew's pace.
Launched in 2003, this Hanse sailboat measures 12.65 metres and welcomes up to eight passengers. It has three cabins and six berths; two main cabins are provided for guests, while the third is reserved for the skipper. The stated power is 55 hp. The recorded rate starts at €370 per day, and renters give it 4.96/5 over 10 reviews.
On board, you will find in particular an autopilot, electric winches, a bow thruster, a GPS and a depth sounder. For breaks, the 2.70-metre dinghy, its 6 hp outboard motor and the inflatable paddle make short trips and time on the water easier. Solar panels, an inverter, two refrigerators with freezer and hot water are also among the described equipment. The bimini, the spray hood, the outdoor table, the deck shower and the cushions make the cockpit pleasant for lunching or resting. Inside, the saloon is fitted out with swivel armchairs and a library devoted to the sea.
From Marina di Grosseto, you can consider coastal sailing towards Talamone, the surroundings of the Argentario or the coves of the Maremma, such as Cala Violina, depending on the programme and conditions. Further offshore, the island of Giglio and Giannutri are among the possible destinations in the archipelago; the Formiche di Grosseto are also mentioned among the sailing destinations. The skipper accompanies the outing: this rental is not offered bareboat. Distances and the itinerary are decided with him, without assuming that all these stopovers fit into a single day.
I would recommend this Hanse to those who want to share the sea with several people while keeping real resting spaces for six people. Catering costs, fuel, final cleaning and any nights in other ports are not included in the published rate; towels and sheets may also be at extra cost. In summer, it is best to check availability early and tell the skipper what kind of day you have in mind.
