Our tip
Traditional camping remains an economical and friendly option for exploring Maremma, especially for families or van/motorhome travelers. The region has several well-located sites, notably near the coast (Marina di Grosseto, Talamone) and close to the Maremma Natural Park, with direct or nearby access to the beaches.
Our selection of campsites systematically checks essential facilities (restrooms, shade, access to the sea or amenities) and favors reasonably sized sites rather than impersonal mega-resorts, in keeping with the spirit of authenticity that guides our entire accommodation selection.
